they are a bit older, from the 70s. I did them
during my studies at the university. there is
no 'disney touch' anymore. I loved the shorts
produced during the 60s by ZAGREB FILM. and
they were probably influenced by the UPA style.
so inventive. in the 80s I happened to find a
contact to the ZAGREB STUDIO. and they copied
exclusively 26 of my favourite shorts onto
VHS. it was expensive but worth every penny.
I still watch them very often. the same with
the UPA shorts. in L.A. I met through gerry
woolery and his playhouse pictures BOBE CANNON's
daughter. he was my absolute idol-animator.
his daughter had lots of stories to share
and a lot of pictures from the old days.
